Meet the Crew

Marc Povey
(Captain, Instructor and PhotoPro)
,
Marc Povey, born in Rhodesia and grew up in Cape Town, South Africa. As a kid I used to free dive for abalone, rock lobster and spear fish for pocket money, and this is when I fell in love with the ocean. It was when diving with the great whites that I eventually got hair on my chest. Shooting fish very quickly took a different form when I was given my first Nikonos 5. My journey of underwater photography has taken me 13 years and I enjoy it now as much as I did when I first started shooting. Since I was so well connected with the ocean, it was simply a natural progression to take on the challenge of captaining dive vessels, hoping to extend my passion for the ocean to others. It is this very challenge that inspires the love of being a captain together with the knowledge that my guests not only have a fantastic vacation, but also take home with them a thrilling dive experience and magical memories. Oh, and best of all, my office has some of the best views in the world.

Ike Mingoa
(Captain, Divemaster, Skiff Driver
)
Ike was born in the Philippines, but made his way over to Palau in 1986 were he has been driving boats ever since. At one point Ike was the personal skiff driver of the President of Palau. Having practically been born on the ocean, Ike is truly a master of the Maritime and Scuba trades. His passion for the sea is reflected in either driving a vessel or diving the Palauan waters.  Ike joined the Palau Aggressor team at the very beginning in 1995. The Aggressor crew calls him lovingly “our antique”. Now you will see him either driving the Tropic Dancer or the Aggressor yacht

.

Nadia Westby, born in Belize. I have always been fascinated by the ocean and dreamed about working around it one day. Growing up in Placencia I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by a tropical setting and beach lifestyle. It did not take me long before I started scuba diving and since I was in one of the best places in the world to encounter whale sharks, I became a whale shark tour guide and instructor. My dream came true. I became well aquatinted with the waters of Belize and 6 years ago I started with the live aboard fleet. A whole new world opened up to me as I started developing my underwater photography and videography skills. I love to share my passion for the ocean and love of videography with all the guests that touch my life. I am very blessed to have this life.
